I guess I'd better go grocery shopping!
This blog gives me a push to learn more about my camera settings. For this shot I found flash compensation in the menus. No flash left the shadows too dark. Full flash was overexposed. But -1 on the flash compensation was just right. So I ate the eggs all up! (No, I'm not Goldilocks)

But we know where they've gone, clever theme shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to use the theme!
ReplyDeleteGood take. And yup your right on the flash. I have a dedicated flash so I don't use the one on the camera. But I rarely use it on full flash and I always try to use a diffuser. I have a great (cheap) homemade one. I also bounce my light a lot. I have been working on better fill light with no shadows for several months now. Would love to share more if you want to e-mail me.
ReplyDeleteCreative image for the theme - and a wonderful shot!!
ReplyDeleteI discovered Flash Compensation through this challenge, too! It's opening a world of camera settings I'd never explored before. What fun!
ReplyDeleteYou take some great shots. I don't get to visit every one every day, so it's a treat to come up on one with several excellent shots. Kayla is too cute (4yo is the PERFECT age!) And the wildlife shots, wow!
ReplyDeleteI love your idea for empty - can't get much emptier than an egg shell.
ReplyDeleteClever image. The empty eggshells are entertaining. Makes me hungry...
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea for the 'empty' theme. And a good learning experience too...
