This great blue heron was patiently waiting for a fish or a frog.
I think a frog is more likely in the algae filled canal.

These are hard to catch, looks like you got pretty close1 Nice! These birds are so interesting to watch!

ReplyDeleteEs, I had to use manual focus to see the heron through the trees. There wasn't enough clear space to catch the whole bird without some leaves in the foreground.
