He looks like someone (Val? snatched him baldheaded. Missing some fur, is he? We had a mother set up her nest to raise a couple of young under our house. Had to get them trapped and moved somewhere else. What a racket they can make. And that hiss and sharp teeth would scare anyone.
My, he looks a bit bedraggled and weary, doesn't he? I love the little pink feet. Great capture! (I've rarely seen a live possum. I used to think they were born flat.)
It must be gorgeous living there. This guy looks like he needs a nap!!
ReplyDeleteAmericas only marsupial, and he ain't playin Possum, great shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat Shot at the possum, I think that I would be a bit lerry about having them running loose in my yard thou looks to much like a rat.
ReplyDeleteI almost hit one of those with the car last night - they are so slow!
ReplyDeleteNice shot. We don't have any possums here. I will try to get a picture of a javelina though
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm jealous about you living in a National Park. How'd you pull that one off?
ReplyDeleteI'm NOT jealous, however, of the subject of your photo. These guys give me the MAJOR willies!!!
You've managed to make even this little critter look sweet! Nice one!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I never see them alive...
ReplyDeleteI hate these things! My house in Chattanooga, TN is on the side of the mountain and the opossums are always getting into my garbage. Hate 'em!
