041: #234 Pink

Kayla does like to pose for the camera!

She was backlit and there was distracting stuff criss-crossing the background so I cleared off the background in photoshop to just focus on the little flirt in pink.

And I just applied a spotlight to her face. I think I like this version better.

  1. How did you extract all those feathers so nicely? (I have PSE) Nice take on the theme, and, of course, Kayla is adorable.

  2. There that cutie is again - she could be a little model - so adorable (especially in that pink boa)! This is really cute!

  3. Linda, what I selected was the background. It was blown-out snow seen through the window with Gregory's pacer behind her as well. The blown-out snow and the definite lines of the pacer were easy to select -- and feather. Then I covered the selection with an off-white from another part of the photo.

  4. Maybe she could get into some modeling So cute. I like the 2nd version it has a little more softness to it and I like the light on her face.

  12. Adorable photo! Nice illustration of "pink" - I like what you did with the lighting in the second shot to draw a little more attention to her face.
