This tiger was pacing back and forth next to the plexiglass and snarling!
Either the enclosure was giving him claustrophobia
or he just didn't like everybody looking at him
or maybe he was hungry...
All those things make me pretty grouchy!
Mating season my dear, I'm afraid more endangered than dangerous, But nevertheless far and away the most magnificent creature still extant in this world, bless your lucky stars that you had the chance to photograph his/her supreme majesty! A treat for me even to see the photo. Thank You.
ReplyDeleteThose teeth scare me! Looks like whoever he is looking at may be dinner! LOL
ReplyDeleteTerrific capture. I love how you caught his growl.
ReplyDeleteSlowly walking away backwards...
ReplyDeleteperfect for theme!
I like the way you have composed the photo--excellent
ReplyDeleteDitto: Excellent
ReplyDeleteThe focus is as sharp as the teeth--every hair and whisker is distinct.
ReplyDeleteThat is such an excellent capture, Jo. Smack on exposure and focus, plus no plexiglass reflections. I love the tight, tight crop which makes him even more intimidating...
ReplyDeleteWonderful focus and capture! Pulling in tight like you did just enhances the dangerous theme of the photo. Great job!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous shot, so sharp as was said. I especially like the whiskers, they are glowing. Great job and all the more so through the plexiglas.
