079: #129 Green

My St. Patrick's Day carnation.
How do they get the green dye to stop at the white edge?

  3. I love the deep green. Tammy's comment made me laugh, because I, too, thought it was a head of lettuce at first! It has great texture.

  4. Nice picture! I have no idea how they keep the tips so white. I too thought it was lettuce at first.

  5. I'm with Tammy, I thought it was lettuce too!! Beautiful green and backgroud. Not sure how they keep the edges white but it would be interesting to know their trick.

  6. What colour do they go when they are ripe?? Great St Pat's shot - not a snake in sight.

  7. I was going for cabbage, what with it's being right after St. Patrick's Day. But, what a great abstract--your processing reduced it to it essential elements.

  8. Maybe it's like tie-dying... ;-P
